How to create your AdSense account
To create your AdSense account kindly follow the steps below:
- Visit official Google AdSense website at https://adsense.google.com/start/.
- At the page, click the “Get started” button.
- Sign in to your Google Account.
- Enter the URL of the site that you want to show ads on. Kindly leave this field empty and select I don’t have a site yet if you want to add your site later or that you do not have a site yet.
- Choose Yes if you would like AdSense to send you customized help and performance suggestions. We however recommend that you choose Yes to enable you get more out of AdSense. You can still change your contact settings later if you so desire.
- Select your payment country or territory. This must be where you currently live to enable you receive your Personal Identification Number (PIN) which will be sent to you by mail. Note that you cannot receive payment without first receiving the PIN and you cannot change your payment country or territory later.
- Review and accept the AdSense Terms and Conditions.
- Click Start using AdSense.
The steps above are what takes to create AdSense account. However, after creating the account you might still notice that some features are unavailable. That is because there are a few tasks that you need to complete before your account will be fully activated.
