BP Cambridge Scholarship for Egyptian Students
Application is now open for 2025/2026 edition of the BP Cambridge Scholarship for Egyptian Students. This scholarship is offered in partnership with BP Egypt and it is only available to Masters’ applicants from Egypt.

BP plays a key role in unlocking Egypt’s energy potential and efforts to grow production safely, efficiently and reliably.
Field and Level of Study
BP Cambridge Scholarship is available for Egyptian students applying for courses that are relevant to the work of BP in Egypt which are mainly:
- Energy Technologies
- Business
- Economics
- Development Studies
Scholarship value and inclusion
The BP Cambridge Scholarship covers:
- University tuition fee
- Annual stipend (sufficient for a single person)
- Immigration Health Surcharge
- Contribution towards travel costs

Eligibility Requirements
Every student applying for BP Cambridge Scholarship must:
- Be an Egyptian citizen
- Be applying to take Master’s programme in any of the eligible fields of study at the University of Cambridge
- Be willing to return to Egypt to work for two years at the end of their course in Cambridge
- Show evidence of excellent academic achievement of a first class or high second-class honors degree, or its equivalent, from a recognized university, supported by certificates of graduation
- Have letters of recommendations from Professors at his current or previous University.
- If not a native speaker of English, provide a result of an English language test and to meet the minimum standard of proficiency required for admission to Cambridge.
Application Procedure
No separate application is required for this scholarship as only the application for admission to the University of Cambridge, which must be submitted by the funding deadline specific to your course of study suffices.
