Education Bursary Awards by Nigerian Government

As part of the Federal Government Scholarship Awards, the Ministry of Education also established the Education Bursary Award to assist students studying Education in Nigerian Colleges of Education and Universities. Nigerian students are encouraged to seize this opportunity, and apply as soon as possible to benefit from the bursary.

The Education Bursary Awards are tenable in Nigeria and take effect from the beginning of the academic session. The ministry warns that no Award shall be held at the same time with another Award nor for part-time studies. Note also that change of course or Institution is not allowed while enjoying the award. The ministry added that applications are entirely free of charge as no agents are required for the process.

Benefits of Education Bursary Awards

Each beneficiary of the bursary is entitled to N150,000 fund awarded each year and the award is renewable every year until the beneficiary graduates from the college or university he is studying at.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicant must be:

• A registered student studying Education in any Nigerian College of Education or University
• A full-time student
• In second year or above
• A student that is not a beneficiary of any subsisting scholarship.

3. Click on Federal Scholarship Board ICON on the Home Page
4. Select Federal Education Bursary Award (EBA)
5. Read Guidelines and then Complete the Application Form online
6. Print the completed application form for reference purposes
7. Note that double Entries will be disqualified.
